Jurors weighing whether Lindsay Clancy is criminally responsible for killing her three young children are being bused to the family’s Duxbury home and the errands her husband ran the night of the killings.

Jurors who will decide whether Massachusetts mom Lindsay Clancy is guilty of murder for strangling her three young children while postpartum are set to visit the family’s Duxbury home Friday, where the unfathomable act took place.
Clancy, 35, a labor and delivery nurse, is charged with three counts of murder and faces life in prison without parole if convicted.
Defense lawyers have argued the mother is not criminally responsible for killing Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, in January 2023, because she was suffering from postpartum psychosis exacerbated by a dangerous cocktail of 15 psychiatric medications at the time, despite seeking mental health treatment for months.
Jury to retrace the family’s final night
The jury overseeing Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial is going to be taken to the same stops that husband Patrick Clancy made before returning home to find his kids dead.
Lindsay sent Patrick out on two errands on the evening of Jan. 24, 2023, during which time she strangled their three young kids with elastic workout bands.
The jury will be taken on a bus to the CVS Patrick picked up a medication from and the restaurant where he picked up take-out food from, ThreeV.
Then the panel will be taken to the Duxbury home where the killings occurred. The house is currently owned by a lawyer.
Judge William Sullivan explained to the jurors Friday morning that they will be taken into the house in groups of six.
“You’re about to visit and go by a number of places you’ve heard about at trial,” Sullivan said.
This is so they can “better understand the evidence and to help you appreciate the location and the surroundings about these different areas.”
After the viewings the panelists will return to court for additional testimony, the judge said.
